There is a continued cycle of violence, illegal drug use/abuse, juvenile delinquency, crime, as well as the High School Dropout rate. These things usually lead to juvenile detention centers, drug addiction, prison, or an early death. At “U Can” we plan to “Break the Cycle” through our efforts. We offer Youth Empowering Services through our Youth Mentoring Program. We are also planning a few community events to highlight positive things going on. “Youth & Family Fun-Ucation Day” is an event that we have scheduled for June 24, 2017. We will have fun activities for our youth and available resources for our families. collaborative effort. It is necessary for educators, judges, community leaders, business owners, law enforcement, family, other stakeholders are coming together to offer solutions.
